Producer Link Up is a grassroots platform dedicated to supporting and championing music producers across the UK, particularly young people and underrepresented communities. Founded and run by Carns Hill, one of the UK’s most respected and influential music producers and Shomokeh Gould, who holds a Master’s degree in Audio Production, the platform was created to give producers the visibility, resources, and connections they often lack in the wider music industry.
We host free monthly events that rotate between Boxpark venues in Shoreditch, Croydon, and Wembley, creating consistent opportunities for producers, artists, and creatives to network, showcase their work, and collaborate. Our events feature beat battles, open mics, industry panels, and guest appearances from high-profile figures such as DJ Semtex (Capital Xtra), Lippy (Filthy Fellas), Jammer (BBK), Novelist, and Blade Brown.

Through these sessions, we’ve helped spark real industry opportunities including publishing deals, radio play, and long-term creative partnerships. Beyond events, our work extends into music releases and educational content. We have released collaborative music projects featuring members of our community and produced podcast episodes that share knowledge, stories, and advice from professionals across the industry. We are actively working in the community to support a range of issues, including access to creative opportunities, mental wellbeing, and representation. Our spaces are safe, inclusive, and open to producers of all levels, whether you are just starting out or already established.
Our core team also includes talented producers Cz Hill and Speakworld, who play a key role in content creation, community engagement, and artist development.
Our Mission and Goals
Our mission is to elevate and empower the UK producer community, a group often overlooked in the music industry. We aim to create real pathways into the industry through education, collaboration, and exposure. As the only platform of its kind focusing on producers, our goal is to build a sustainable ecosystem that nurtures talent, amplifies underrepresented voices, and drives cultural innovation from the ground up.
As we grow, we are expanding into seminars, workshops, online masterclasses, and a music sourcing service for companies or labels in need of original, high-quality production. Everything we do is centred on helping creatives thrive both artistically and professionally while building a future where music producers are recognised, valued, and supported at every stage of their journey.
Producer Link Up has been built for music producers, by music producers.
